Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:07]: This is badhabits62 I change my name.

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:08]: Hope this is alright.

lATICK [0:08]: sell high buy low

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:10]: I don't buy hi and sell low. Just humor.

lATICK [0:10]: currently looking at MO chart. What do u see tomorrow?

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:13]: Futures are up! Right now anyways. I see green! As for MO.....

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:16]: I charted MO if that is what you meant by "MO". Not much room there.

lATICK [0:17]: i think if it doesnt gap up easily .50 cents

lATICK [0:18]: can make .50 cents in the morning

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:22]: I do the oppisite! I find stocks beating down by 30% or more. And watch for the gangsters I mean the instituion to start buying by way of volume. I buy in, and when it slows down or news hits I sell them back.

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:22]: Sorry about the spelling. Speed typing you know!

lATICK [0:24]: thats a good strategy

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:24]: Follow the crooks...I mean money!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:26]: As yo may notice I am bitter with the corruption! Can't beat em....follow em,

lATICK [0:26]: i used to short heavyly pumped stock. i lost 25%of my portfolio on NLST.

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:26]: OUCH. Stop loss?

lATICK [0:26]: So now a days i kinda get scared shorting those pumps also'

lATICK [0:27]: no stop loss

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:27]: I only short huge spikes!

lATICK [0:27]: i added more

lATICK [0:28]: that went from $2 to $8 just in 3days

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:28]: OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! You'll get it back! A least you have 75% left to battle another day!

lATICK [0:28]: so iam making new strategy

lATICK [0:29]: any good strategy help

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:31]: Whom am I to give advice! The lessons that Gar has on video could help!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:31]: My stradegy is as I wrote!

lATICK [0:32]: yes but any idea will help build my strategy

lATICK [0:32]: how do you find them

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:32]: Buy low sell high! LOL

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:38]: Institutions make a stock move! They buy when stocks are on sell mostly! Look for heavy buying volume on beating down stocks! "Bouncers" is listed on your seach parameter. A histroy of LARGE volum and a large price decline. Save to your list! Run Big buying volume on your stock list! BAM!

lATICK [0:39]: thanks ,

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:41]: I works for me! Then if you know how to chart using the RSI and stochastic helps!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:41]: Trends and piviot points ect,

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:42]: 50 day 200 day

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:43]: See ya got to go!

lATICK [0:44]: still learning charting. Started trading abt 1 year ago and used to make like 50..60 bucks between 2.30 to 4.00. every trading day shorting yahoo % gainers. but all those gains were taken by one single NLST.

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:46]: I should not have said anything! I am in the prestents of some really smart people here! UGGGGGGGGGG

lATICK [0:50]: i like your strategty try shorting yahoo %gainers they work like a charm man

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:51]: I do!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:51]: I check the volume also! That is what I like! BIG VOLUME! Institutions!

lATICK [0:53]: how do you know if its instution or other daytraders buying stocks?

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:54]: Institution do not buy news! They sell!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:54]: Upgrades are there way of unloading big blocks of shares! Its all rigged!

lATICK [0:55]: so how to know if instution are buying?

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:55]: No news and large volume!!!!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:56]: The stock moves big time!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:56]: Large buys!

lATICK [0:57]: how to scan that

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:57]: Big buying volume

lATICK [0:57]: but here it only tracks 2000 stocks

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:58]: Skyscraper volume surge!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:58]: Make your own list!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:58]: upload it!

lATICK [0:59]: how to make list

Buy_hi_Sell_low [0:59]: Import I mean!

lATICK [0:59]: ok i get it, i make my own stock list and import it in this software

Buy_hi_Sell_low [1:00]: Note pad on your PC? List there then import your list

Buy_hi_Sell_low [1:00]: Got it!

lATICK [1:01]: is there any way where i scan for find big institution buying

Buy_hi_Sell_low [1:01]: Good question!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [1:01]: That you will have to find!

lATICK [1:02]: if i can again make like 100 bucks i will look for part time job

Buy_hi_Sell_low [1:03]: I know they stay clear of anything under $4.50? I think.

lATICK [1:03]: ye they dont buy under 5. most wont buy under 7 i heard

lATICK [1:05]: i am having trouble working because of my back problem

lATICK [1:07]: how do you like mighty gap

JayBird [1:49]: Tomorrow morning, two economic reports are scheduled to be released before the open. 1) Durable Orders (Consensus 1.5%) and 2) Durable Orders ex Transportation (Consensus 0.7%).

Tomorrow before the open look for the following companies to report: AEO, BPHX, BWS, DSX, FRED, LTXC, SOLF, SCMR, SYNO, TOL, and ZLC.

lATICK [2:04]: any good strategies

ShogunTX [2:06]: There as been a lot of talk about Sprint this week, yet SV still has it ranked pretty low. Some are suggesting $6.00 a share this week

ShogunTX [2:09]: I would belief if it makes it to 6.00 some of the biger players will jump on board with their new phone launch around June 6th. But then again Steve Jobs and Apple have a big announcment on that day as well

Andrew [5:14]: Goldman Sachs put a $6 price target on Sprint, but I would imagine that the institutional money will begin selling it before it reaches $6. It has gone up 28% from $4.14 to $5.29 in just 2 days, so at this point if you buy have a clear exit plan in mind in case the upward momentum begins to stop.

LEECO [7:23]: MORMING ALL-WILL BE AWAY MOST OF MPRNING ON gARSWORLD BUSINESS-INEXES UP aSIA, eIROPE HERE

Andrew [7:24]: Good morning Leeco. Have a great day.

LEECO [7:26]: Morning Iatrick,JB,Andrew-Indexes Un Asia, Europe and here all up-perhaps a Bull trap in a Bear market?

Andrew [7:28]: Perhaps. The Bear/Bull Composite shows indecision on which way the market could go. There might be some additional short covering today, and even more buying if we take out highs from Friday/Monday.

Andrew [7:29]: The market might open near an area where there was a lot of selling volume done on Monday afternoon.

nester [7:31]: NEW YORK (AP) -- Stock futures rose Wednesday as investors try to build momentum following a late-day rally during the previous trading session.

The Dow Jones industrial average closed down just 22 points Tuesday after being down by more than 250 points shortly after trading opened. The bounce back was stoked by comments from Congressional leaders saying they would not push for banks to spin-off lucrative trading desks as part of financial regulation reform.

Big swings in trading have again become the norm in recent weeks, similar to the volatility that helped define the market during the credit crisis and the early parts of the recovery last year.

nester [7:32]: PARIS (AP) -- Economic recovery in the world's richest countries is accelerating thanks to a "substantial" rebound in trade and growth in Asia, but austerity measures are needed to reduce deficits -- as Europe's debt crisis proves, a leading agency said Wednesday.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, a watchdog for 31 of the world's most developed economies, said that serious risks including Europe's sovereign debt crisis and a possible boom-bust scenario in emerging markets such as Brazil, India and China still threaten what it calls a "relatively auspicious" economic environment.

"The period of significant financial instability that began in August 2007 is not yet over," the OECD warned in its latest biannual Economic Outlook.

nester [7:32]: LONDON (AP) -- World stock markets rebounded Wednesday following steep losses the previous day, but sentiment remained fragile amid fears Europe's debt crisis could hamper global economic growth.

Britain's FTSE 100 was up 1.7 percent at 5,025.41, Germany's DAX rose 1.5 percent to 5,754.60 and France's CAC-40 was up 2.4 percent at 3.412.16.

Asian stocks closed higher and Wall Street was also expected to gain on the open -- Dow industrials futures were up 0.5 percent at 10,075 while Standard & Poor's 500 futures were up 0.6 percent at 1,072.70.

The increases only partly make up for deep losses on Tuesday, when investors feared the repercussions of painful austerity measures on Europe's economic growth and the knock-on impact on trading partners like the U.S. and Japan.

nester [7:33]: SINGAPORE (AP) -- Oil prices rose to near $70 a barrel Wednesday in Asia as a drop in U.S. gasoline supplies and rebounding Asian stock markets bolstered confidence that demand for fuel is rising.

Benchmark crude for July delivery was up $1.13 to $69.88 a barrel at late afternoon Singapore time in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract dropped $1.46 to settle at $68.75 on Tuesday.

Gasoline supplies unexpectedly fell last week, dropping by 3.2 million barrels, the American Petroleum Institute said late Tuesday. Analysts had expected an increase of 150,000 barrels, according to a survey by Platts, the energy information arm of McGraw-Hill Cos.

nester [7:33]: TOKYO (AP) -- The Federal Reserve and other central banks must protect their ability to make key economic decisions free from political interference, Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke said Wednesday.

As governments move ahead on reforms to prevent another global financial crisis like the one in 2008, Bernanke stressed the importance of the Fed and central banks in other countries maintaining their independence over setting interest rates, known as monetary policy.

The Fed, for instance, often must make decisions such as boosting rates to keep inflation in check that are unpopular with politicians but are necessary for a healthy economy.

Politicians generally prefer holding interest rates low, which stimulate the economy and hiring.

nester [7:34]: A 10 percent rise for the FTSE-100 index and Dow Jones Industrial Average looks possible, according to technical charts, Chris Zwermann, global strategist at Zwermann Financial, told CNBC Wednesday.

Meanwhile, German Bund futures will drop and the euro has a chance to recover in the short term.

"Here is a good chance to buy the recovery," Zwerman said.

He has a target of 5,600 for the FTSE-100, but investors should sell out it if it dips below 4,900.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average "penetrated" the 9,800 "neckline" on Tuesday, but closed above that level which signals a "high possibility" that the U.S. index could trade higher, Zwermann said.

His target for the Dow is 10,730.68 in the coming weeks.

nester [7:35]: CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- Shares of American Eagle Outfitters, NetApp Inc. and Jo-Anne Stores Inc. are among those expected to see active trading Wednesday.

Andrew [7:42]: Good morning nester.

nester [7:43]: Morning Andrew... see the futures are quite high

Andrew [7:46]: Yes. There could be a nice continuation rally from more short covering, or good prices to get short again in the coming days. I had my first big losing day in a very long time yesterday, so I'm going to be less aggressive for the next few days (going back to tighter stops and fewer trades).

nester [7:50]: i've been trying to slow down myself. only trade no more than 6 times a day. this move north will just bring us more profits when we do drop more. can't wait

Andrew [7:51]: It would be really interesting if this winds up being the bottom. It would indicate huge sideline money still wanting to get in the market, and we could have another large up-move.

Andrew [7:52]: That scenario doesn't seem too likely though based on the last several weeks' selling.

LEECO [7:53]: Good morning nester-Ifind that to watch the trades closely enuf -even with alerts set-I can only do about 4 a day-old age must be slowing me down LOL

nester [7:55]: morning Sir... hope you are doing well. becareful not to get caught in anything if we go up here for a bit... i think once we drop, we will go for a bit more than we did this time

Andrew [7:55]: One argument for the bulls though is that we've had pretty large up-volume with the buying on Friday and Tuesday, and we sold off on a lot less volume on Monday.

LEECO [7:57]: I am hoping for an up surge so I can sell some coveredcalls (EX: JCI @ $1) and then buy them back if we continuer bearish

karenbcz [8:02]: ANDREW: The bottom???? If yesterday was the bottom, then I'm BK!

Andrew [8:03]: SOLF is gapping up a ton on earnings

nester [8:03]: FAZ is tankin... down to 15.30

Andrew [8:04]: I doubt that's actually the bottom (was just throwing out different possibilities). Even if it is the bottom, usually there will be a re-test or two as well.

Andrew [8:08]: The volume done yesterday also wasn't extremely overwhelming.

nester [8:11]: SOMX is gapping up 5% already

Buy_hi_Sell_low [8:14]: Morning! New name for me. It was badhabits62. I bought this program yesterday!

nester [8:16]: welcome. glad you joined us... hope you don't mind us shorting your name...

Buy_hi_Sell_low [8:16]: LOL!

Buy_hi_Sell_low [8:18]: That is fine!

Andrew [8:18]: Buying high and selling low is a pretty good strategy if it means buying high and selling higher or selling low and covering even lower.

nester [8:19]: lol... i think that thought everytime i hear that term...

Andrew [8:19]: A lot of people who bought high intraday yesterday wound up doing excellent.

nester [8:19]: just he's backwords Andrew

LEECO [8:21]: morning BHSL

guymar [8:22]: Hi people

carr [8:25]: Good morning Andrew DJ guymar karen Leeco and all

Andrew [8:26]: Good morning. Data on durable goods orders comes out in a few minutes.

carr [8:27]: Good morning nester, sorry I didn't see you

nester [8:27]: lol... morning carr

karenbcz [8:35]: Congrats BuyHi. You will enjoy!! $$$$$$$$$

karenbcz [8:35]: ANDREW; Government numbers ...more lies! LOL!

LEECO [8:35]: Morning Carr-just sent you an e-mail-request for list of board members

Andrew [8:36]: Tomorrow morning is the preliminary GDP data for Q1

Andrew [8:36]: We don't really have to worry about the meaning of the numbers - just how other traders react to them.

nester [8:37]: April durable goods orders up healthy 2.9%

Andrew [8:38]: It was -1% excluding the transportation component though. The market hasn't moved much.

nester [8:39]: came from this... http://www.marketwatch.com/story/april-durable-goods-orders-up-healthy-29-2010-05-26?siteid=bnbh

madriver [12:39]: morning all

madriver [12:40]: nester...sent you an email. thanks

carr [8:40]: morning madriver

nester [8:40]: morning mad... already replied...

madriver [8:40]: morning

Andrew [8:41]: Analysts often exclude the transportation component in their analysis since orders for aircraft and stuff like that can be very volatile month-to-month.

carr [8:41]: DJ why do you keep changing your name? :-)

carr [8:42]: good morning lewy

madriver [8:44]: karen....what does BK mean?

Andrew [8:45]: Good morning madriver. See any good stocks for today?

DJalecC [8:46]: I'm logged in on 2 computers, one is lower case, one upper case! LOL, changed it now, got the wife looking for stocks to buy.

carr [8:47]: DJ I thought maybe you were having an identity crisis LOL

madriver [8:47]: andrew.....looking around here...

DJalecC [8:47]: LOL had that years ago!

DJalecC [8:48]: morning all by the way! :-)

carr [8:48]: I kind of like RIMM today

Andrew [8:50]: RIG got sold off extremely hard the last several weeks - now rebounding.

madriver [8:51]: I think it's going to be up at the open and possibly sell off...I don't know why I even make that statement because it's simply guessing. I don't think the EU issue is played out completely either so..........

madriver [8:51]: transocean...no thanks

jim [8:52]: Agree with andrew RIG may be a good play

madriver [8:52]: I agree with him however........

jim [8:52]: morning all

carr [8:52]: RIG looks good to me on a 60m but I am not that optimistic on a 5m

carr [8:52]: morning jim

jim [8:52]: morning Carr

Buy_hi_Sell_low [8:53]: Out of all my current DD, AKS sitll comes out on top! There are a few other stocks that are close.

madriver [8:53]: might be good this morning if they can top kill that well but if it doesn't work RIG MIGHT go down in flames........

Andrew [8:53]: Companies like that could maybe be a good long-term investment once the oil spil stuff is all in the past?

madriver [8:53]: agree andrew

jim [8:54]: Agree Andrew BP may also be a good one but I would wait for awhile

madriver [8:54]: to be honest it is killing me to see the damage being done

Andrew [8:54]: Yeah it's really horrible

jim [8:55]: This spill will go down as the worst in history before it is over

madriver [8:56]: solar and wind might go up because of proposed subsidies Obama is running around with plus if they don't kill this well.......it could be a game changer because it will take 2 more months to drill a relief well.....

Andrew [8:57]: The solar companies' charts are all terrible currently.

madriver [8:57]: Look at JASO...what does that look like?

Andrew [8:58]: They're back to March 2009 levels

jim [8:58]: jaso, ldk, solf any others we should be looking at?

madriver [8:59]: looks like it's going to gap up.

madriver [8:59]: ESLR....lol

Andrew [8:59]: sol, csiq, tsl, stp, spwra, fslr come to mind

madriver [8:59]: talk about tanking........ESLR...holy cow

nester [9:00]: JASO chart looks like a nightmare... it should be falling according to the chart, but will move up in the next day or so to mid 5's

Andrew [9:00]: Interesting with JASO - noticed it bounced right at a trendline connecting lows from (5/19/09, 10/27/09, 10/28/09, and 11/27/09)

nester [9:02]: Karen - FAZ is pulling back up a bit. don't slit your wrists yet... lol

madriver [9:02]: Nester......nightmare because...I see the 100ma is frightning...other reasons

Andrew [9:04]: I also forgot csun, emkr, ener, solr, and yge

nester [9:06]: mad - pattern wise. all over the place. look between Dec to present on daily. the 200ma is moving steadly up and the 10/20/50ma's are crossing constantly. the price is right on the 200 right now and in the past it has bounced off that. if it does fall thru it, could be on the way down to the $3's if you trade this, day only as there is no real clear direction to me...

madriver [9:06]: take a look at pwer....hit some new highs recently

madriver [9:07]: okay.....I didn't look at it closely but I will....thanks Nester

jim [9:08]: Got leave in a few minutes for all day meeting , I am in the east seems odd to be starting work at 9am

nester [9:08]: is it me or does this not feel like a decent up day?

Andrew [9:08]: Because of the pullback after the 8:30am data?

nester [9:09]: yeah, maybe... something just feels strange today...

madriver [9:09]: for what it's worth I think it's up then down ...down for the day

Andrew [9:10]: There's also new home sales data @10am and oil inventory data @10:30

Andrew [9:11]: I think there might be enough shorts in this market for us to move higher for a while.

nester [9:11]: i'm short on a few from last nite. think i will hold them thru this mess today. thinkin Friday we will be back to our downtrend

madriver [9:12]: what month is new homes sales for?

Andrew [9:12]: April

ortrade [9:13]: good morning

madriver [9:13]: That might be okay.....since the tax credit was still there I believe...actually might be a real good number

nester [9:13]: here is the calendar bookmark this page... http://biz.yahoo.com/calendar/

majour [9:14]: morning ortrade

madriver [9:14]: made shortcut....thanks Nester

madriver [9:16]: sorry I should do this on my own but working and trading on the side

madriver [9:16]: work from home

ortrade [9:17]: morning majour, my forecast for the day.. the market is still at the fat finger level and yesterday was nothing but a hammer with large indecision on daily on DJI and SP500. Given the GDP tomorrow, today it maybe a sideways market perhaps larger volatility with possible reversal around 1.20am..

madriver [9:17]: Nester....I saw the chat about Futures last night...probably going to move in that direction because can trade off hours

madriver [9:17]: problem I don't know anything about futures

Andrew [9:18]: I think it restricts you to trading either commodities or an index like SPY, QQQQ, DIA.

Andrew [9:20]: One thing I like about the stock market is that you can trade virtually anything due to ETFs.

madriver [9:21]: Andrew...my preference it definitely equities...I enjoy it

Andrew [9:21]: If most things aren't really moving much in a low-volatility period, you can usually still find a few individual companies making good moves.

nester [9:21]: mad - a bit to learn. going to go thru and test a bit before trying it. MoNk has been trying to talk me into that for months... will more than likely try it out soon

madriver [9:22]: let me know what you think and how it goes. I liked your comment where you said "now I can loose money at night" or something like that...

Andrew [9:23]: I think some people get into futures trading since there is no SEC pattern day trading rule and you can use a lot more leverage.

nester [9:24]: lol... i tend to not "test" systems near enough like Andrew or Sandman... so i lose $'s at first.

madriver [9:25]: I haven't backtested anything in awhile

guymar [9:25]: in volatile periods futures are perhaps better or at least equivalent

guymar [9:26]: during range bound periods or sideways periods stock offer some advantages

Mckoan [9:29]: A friend of mine who owns a seat at the Board of Trade cautioned me about trading futures. These days when a fund comes in and buys/sells a thousand contracts, you had better be on the right side or you get killed. Similar what JP Morgan does at least one a year in the silver market.

Andrew [9:30]: There's a recent documentary about Chicago futures traders you can watch here... http://www.babelgum.com/5003507/floored-episode-1.html

nester [9:30]: thx...

Treacherous_Cretin [10:37]: I think you make a lot of good choices. I just think you should also let people know when trades fail or when you average down. Nobody would question your credibility if that were the case. It just gets to be a bit much to believe when you come in out of the blue and say you are up 12% on peix when there was no mention of what happened to the rest you bought cheap at $1.60. That's all

guymar [10:37]: HAUP 3.04

Treacherous_Cretin [10:37]: Just want to reiterate that I like you and a lot of your trades. Just pointing out why some might have a problem with your credibility sometimes

Andrew [10:40]: out half FAS tiny gain

ortrade [10:41]: This market is insanely bullish..

Mckoan [10:41]: Nester, as I said before, the software statistically just gives a TREND tendency. I believe we will see SSRI at $25.00 and in the $30.00 next year. However, silver is still a trading vehical ( not buy and hold ) because of the antics of JP Morgan. When they choose to short silver, they are shorting millions of ounce. I would like to be a "fly" inside JP Morgan trading office.

Mckoan [10:41]: $25.00 this year

Andrew [10:48]: out FAS -0.45%

Mckoan [10:48]: Nester- just a tip. I talk to SSRI investor relations just about quarterly. They are aware that I am big investor in the company. Keep in mind that SSRI has sold millions of shares to UBS this year at $17.00. I personally feel that with this market climate, SSRI management feels that $17.00 is a fair price for their stock. Therefore any time SSRI get to around $17.00, I am a buyer.

nester [11:33]: ortrade - but that is what makes them easier also. stupid news on something you are holding can tank you if your long on it

guymar [11:33]: iI should have added - for my mindset (purely chartist) etfs are actually better

karenbcz [11:34]: NESTER?

nester [11:34]: regarding the trading ETF's vs stocks

guymar [11:34]: but you are right BHSL - meanwhile it's up

ortrade [11:37]: there are pros and cons to news.. - in the long run my experience with etf is they are harder to trade as low info content makes etf price changes more random and harder to predict.. On stocks I use news.google.com and it gives news on stocks by the minute.. works well for me..

Andrew [11:38]: back short S 5.03
